GPA's BBQ Chicken

Want a super simple really good kid loving chicken recipe that you can even cook on a hot plate?...well, look no further because this is the one.  We used to beg my dad for his BBQ chicken and then devour it when he would make it for us.  He would usually grill it but while I was on vacation one summer the only thing I had was a tiny kitchen and hot plate to work with so I thought I would give it a try and wow super easy and super yummy!  I hope you enjoy this one with your kids!
 Ingredients:
  • 1 lb chicken of choice, breast or thighs, rinsed and dried
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons worcestershire sauce or coconut aminos
  • Sprinkle Garlic Salt to cover top
  • 1/2 teaspoon olive oil
Instructions:
  1. Whisk together ketchup, worcestershire sauce/coconut aminos, garlic salt and oil
  2. Cook Chicken on grill, hot plate or cast iron skillet for 5 minutes then flip
  3. Paint sauce on top and cook another 5 minutes then flip
  4. Paint sauce on other side
  5. Cook another 3 minutes per side or until done
**If avoiding FOD foods eliminate the garlic salt and use garlic infused olive oil instead.
